Abisola Obasanya is the Executive Director of Arc Lights Foundation, a not for profit organization set up to transform education in Nigeria and Africa through STEM and Robotics Education.
Mrs. Abisola Obasanya is a seasoned and experienced educationist who was influential in establishing the first educational toy distribution and C-STEM alliance with an international affiliation in the West Africa Sub-Region with a partnership in LEGO Education, which led to the promotion of C-STEM, Computer Science, Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematic with special focus on Robotics Education in Nigeria.
Mrs. Obasanya has a Post Graduate Diploma in Education (2002) from the University of Lagos. She started full employment as a teacher at Busybees Parklane, Apapa under the Tutelage of a British educationist known as Cathy Balogun (Mrs.) at the age of 21. Mrs. Obasanya moved on to Meadow Hall School, Lekki, where she built a solid career as an educationist, trained home and abroad in courses such as Leadership, Early Years Management, School Administration, Public Administration, Fund Raising, Events Management.
She spent notable learning time at the Think Tanks at the Washington Institute of Leadership, USA, Chester College University, London and other Institutions. She spent 10 years in Meadow Hall and as pioneer head of Infant school, she contributed in growing Meadow Hall to be one of the best and largest school in Nigeria. Abisola Obasanya finished as part of the Executive MBA class 19 of the Prestigious Pan African University (Lagos Business School) in December 2015.
In July 2016, Abi Obasanya formed the Association of School Directors and Educators in Nigeria (ASDEN). A platform that offers free Self or low-cost development, business development and Curriculum expertise and Consultancy to Nigerian School Directors and Educators. She and her team started the redesign and improvement of the Nigerian curriculum into a global one.
